Ohhh phone tech… I consider mobile phones as a part of our lives no matter where you are; they are considered to be attached to our skin from in my opinion. I’ve had some sort of vintage phone fetish throughout many many years it only seems to grow at an enormous amount of love for them day by day! Back in March of 2016 Apple has released the first generation of the iPhone SE which was celebratory designed to look like the iPhone 5S and my god it looked yet also felt beautiful with its Apple A9 chipset allowing that individual device to run extremely smoother than its previous iPhone ancestors. Once I have read much about the 1st iPhone SE, I was amazed. I could not lay my eyes on the iPhone 6 while they were both being introduced in the same year, every single aspect & feature of the original iPhone SE blew my mind despite its small size and battery. Speaking about battery, that is what led to the heavy downside that drew heavier against that tiny mouse. There was never a day when I could leave the phone without the charger, as a matter of fact there needed to be a time when a portable charger had to take place just to fill up the juice for the good o’ SE. Although that did not stop the fact about how well the device has sold for millions of buyers.

Now, most argue about how size is important also how the bigger the better phones can hold up as an essential daily driver, however in my opinion that can be wrong in some ways that I can make a point of and that is getting to hold a device with a single hand instead of needing both hands to operate a much larger device. Throughout every year every mobile phone brand especially Samsung & Apple; would usually sell different sizes of its top selling phone models. For example last year Apple introduced not only 3 types of iPhone 12 devices, as to now they finally brought a bright spotlight to the iPhone 12 Mini! And boy do I tell you this particular device can hold a single charge for the entire day despite its 2,227 mAh battery, for sure its bigger brothers are going to have a higher battery life for them to survive longer helping the owner fight alongside whichever task is needed to be done. Therefore it is easy to admit that, BUT let us talk about how we can handle days when we are in a type of situation where we need to reach out the device with one hand while we are doing certain things with the other hand like washing the dishes then comes a phone call of your mother or father asking for your help about what type of milk is a must get at a grocery store. Let us say you have the iPhone 12 Pro Max on the table near you but your hands are silky wet from washing those plates! If you have small hands like myself you have a higher chance it will be a bit difficult to reach out for that big o’ phone just to answer the phone call hoping it won’t fall down on the floor and break. Now replace the hefty biggest brother with the little golden child iPhone 12 Mini, fortunately you have better luck that little guy won’t break itself, ready to answer dad’s call about that silly milk problem.

Coming back to the good o’ iPhone SE, you could do a variety of productivity multitasking with the little ancestor of the iPhone family. Here’s a bigger catch, this device continues to receive updates til this day! We’re talking iOS 14 updates including its newly widget feature! Sadly from my experience you are going to deal with a bigger battery drain ever since Apple began to roll out iOS 14 updates to most up to date iPhones, but let’s face it, there are still many iPhone owners like me who continue to use this old beauty for whatever reason. It gives out a business feeling when holding that sweet aluminum body and that nice glass layered one on top while the bottom sits below. My love for older iPhones grows at a larger amount every year besides some love for past android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the beloved OnePlus One. Mobile technology is a blessing. I say this when anyone asks me what do I think about technology on the go. Maps, emails, virtual projects, scheduling to pickup a cup of coffee before work, etc. No matter what device you use, you can do so much with such a little device, and this is the device that has presented me everything since 2016 was the year I have stepped inside the business life. I am thankful for Apple and yes also every other mobile phone makers for creating these items therefore continue to adapt and advance annually, To be truly thoughtful I believe we will come to a point where we have to sadly say goodbye to the iPhone SE and its older ancestors, and say hello to future phones that may no longer need a charging port but will only be able to be charged wirelessly! Only time will tick tock as newer phones make its way into the market only for us human beings to discover what they may hold as a surprise.
